There are lively piazzas, busy shops and a pretty harbour full of yachts. The town has a heavy Catalan influence, with a 16th century Catalan-Gothic cathedral, and so many good gelaterias you have to ration your ice cream intake — the best is Pink on Via Cark Alberto 125.
