This is the Liffey in 1999 on the European stopover for the Tall Ships

on their way round the world. Dublin's northside was the last part of the

city to be developed during the 18th century and was envisioned to be

an area of wide leafy avenues, but the reality of today's heavy traffic has

rather spoilt the original plans.
