Paphos
(also spelt Pafos) was the Cypriot capital under the ancient Greeks and Romans,
and has a rich collection of historic sites. It’s the least developed
of the main resort areas on Cyprus, although that situation is changing fast.
The lower town Kato Paphos has no shortage of eating and nightlife venues. Upper
Paphos, known as Ktima, is more traditionally Cypriot.
