Cyprus’s
second largest city, Limassol (also known as Lemesos) is a place that combines
an industrial and shipping role with that of a seaside resort. There are plenty
of things to see and do, and an active dining, nightlife and cultural scene,
although it lacks some of the family-oriented facilities of dedicated beach
resorts such as Ayia Napa.
